Hadie walked out through the halls of Auradon Prep, before making a rather dramatic exit, and heading onto the grounds where people gathered to socialize. He would keep an eye out for his sister while he was out in the public eye, she was the last person he wanted to run into. Just being in her presence most times screwed up his day, and so far since their arrival, he’s done a good job of avoiding her. He was glad she was an upper classman, that way it was much less likely he would ever have to set foot into a place where she would be, or even better, have to look at her.

The Icy Blue eyed male proceeded with caution, hands behind his head with his fingers laced together so he would appear casual. Though most days he would have preferred seclusion, today seemed like a good day to at least attempt socializing with the AKs, given that he would actually capture one’s attention. Though, what VK didn’t capture the attention of the Auradonians? Be it fear or curiosity, that didn’t matter. They were watched as if they were some kind of experiment. Although, that’s kind of what their being there was wasn’t it? An experiment? A test to see if they were different from their parents? Whatever one wanted to call it. He found no need to cause trouble… Yet.

Brushing a hand through his hair, he allowed his limbs to fall to his sides afterwards, fixing his jacket in the process. It was warm, but regardless of weather, heat and cold did not bother him. He was comfortable in his attire, he wasn’t going to change it to make someone else comfortable, no matter what the reasons for them being there were. They were lucky he’d been cooperating with his behavior, but that could always change, it if had to. Unlike most of the others, at least he was approachable… Sort of.

Luc wouldn't have been able to attract more attention if she'd screamed as she sashayed across the grounds in her black mini skirt, red cold shoulder blouse, and black stilettoes. Her golden hair was let loose in wild curls, but it did not detract from her beauty. It, in fact, did the complete opposite and accentuated it. But although she took a great pride in making herself look good, she was a humble girl. After all, she was the daughter of two servants. And not just any servants, but two who had worked for the father of the king, and his father before him, very briefly.

Lucienne was a believer of second chances. She didn't trust the VKs, but she was willing to give them a chance. She full heartedly stood behind Ben's decision. He was Belle's son, after all, and Belle had given Adam a second chance. He ended up being the head king of Auradon for twenty years, and the land lived in peace. She wasn't naive to believe that all of the VKs would be reformed; she was well aware that some of them would go back to their wicked ways. But some had potential.

One such VK caught her eye as she was walking, and she sidled up next to him. "Bonjour, I'm Lucienne. You are one of the VKs, yes?"

He could sense someone near him. How close they were, he hadn’t known, but even as the hairs on the back of his neck stood up, he could tell they weren’t threatening. Hadie was quite cautious when it came to those he didn’t know, and even more so with the ones he did. Trust no one was the mantra he lived by. By the time he chose to look for the presence he picked up, they were already next to him, introducing themselves. His brows raised as icy blue eyes landed on a female. The first thing he noticed was how attractive she was. He didn’t know her, so that was all he had to go by at that moment. Second thing he noticed was she was friendly, which meant one thing. She was an AK, though with the way she was dressed, someone else would have never guessed.

“Uh, yeah. Name’s Hadie.” He responded, shifting his gaze back to the trail they were on. “Ummm, nice to… meet you.. oooorrr… whatever.” How did that even work exactly? This whole ‘being nice’ thing wasn’t sitting well with him, but it was the attempt that mattered with the Auradonians, right? His mind went to that ‘Remedial Goodness’ class he and the rest of the VKs were given. Couldn’t they have done something better? Give them something that was actually interesting, instead of boring and repetitive? At this point in time, on the one hand, he couldn’t complain. If this were another time, and another place.. Well, he’d keep his thoughts to himself unless provoked.

It was true that she typically had a different style of dress from most other Auradonians, even the nonroyals. Luc liked to think of herself as daring when it came to fashion, something many girls here were not. With the VKs' arrival, and their wardrobes filled with leather, studs, and spikes, she wasn't as "out there" as she had been before they came. But she didn't mind. In fact, she had to admire the VKs, if only for that. Luc usually didn't wear leather, at least not a lot, but perhaps she would take a leaf from their book of style sometime.

With a soft grin that brightened her face, she held her hand out. "The pleasure is mine." Despite having grown up in Auradon, she had a French accent. It's what happens when one is raised in a home where only French is spoken. "You are the God of the Underworld's son, oui?" Suddenly her face sobered up as if she'd just been told the worst news ever. "And Catrina is your sister. I am so sorry." Greek deities were well known for their... Bedroom activities, but it seemed as if the goddess took that reputation a bit too far. Luc had to be grateful her brother wasn't a promiscuous pain in the ass. As patient a girl as she was, she'd probably strangle him if he was anything like Rina.

Hadie couldn't help the frown that came onto his features as the girl held out her hand. He was most definitely uncertain of what that gesture even meant, and with slight hesitation he took it. Was he supposed to shake, or just hold it? Whatever the case might have been, it felt awkward, all things considered. When she apologized about Catrina being his sister, he couldn't contain his laughter. It wasn't so much the apology he found funny, but the why. “I’ve been hearing that an awful lot since our arrival here. I’m the.. calmer one.” He shrugged, before giving her an amused grin.

“So.. What do you guys do around here?” He inquired, shoving his hands casually in his pockets. On the one hand, he was curious, while on the other, he wasn’t sure he’d care or even take part in the activities. It would definitely be a learning experience if he did, considering all the things he was used to doing already.
